Who got you into property?
I applied for a trainee job as I thought it looked fun!
Favourite memory in the industry?
The day I became a Chartered Surveyor.
The biggest influence in your career to date?
A previous manager taught me to concentrate on the small things which have big impacts.
Worst moment?
Missing ex-colleagues.
Best moment so far?
Incorporating Horton & Storey and being shortlisted for the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Award 2021.
If you weren’t in the property industry, what else would you be?
Living in Cornwall by the sea.
How do you progress from a trainee negotiator to a Director?
Learn something new every day, help others and choose role models.
What are your greatest passions outside Horton & Storey?
Three things, my family, being outdoors and rugby.
What would you love to do but never have the time or money for it?
To rebuild an old Land Rover and use it for appointments!
Worst habit?
Overthinking.
What word or phrase most depicts your personality?
Do it once and do it properly.
What’s your greatest fear or phobia?
Being late for an appointment.
If you had a theme song – what would it be?
The Who – Eminence Front.
Name three things that are always in your shopping trolley?
Red peppers, some form of cheese, and a discount item so I feel that I’ve got a bargain.
