De-Clutter
Now is your perfect opportunity to sort out those spaces that become cluttered during hectic day-to-day life. Whether it is the loft, garage, spare room or even just the corner of a room. It will make you feel much better when it is done and also in the long term when you come to market your property, it is a big positive for prospective buyers if there are clean lines and open spaces.
Paint
A lick of paint can instantly transform the look and feel of a room and what’s more, the whole family can get involved so it will keep the kids busy! Always begin with a clean wall and don’t forget to repair any holes or broken areas. Use masking tape to save floors and windows and prime the walls especially if you’re painting over a darker coloured wall with lighter paint.
Don’t forget the little things like skirting boards, doors and frames!
Freshen up outside space
First impressions count so don’t forget your front and rear spaces. Think about weeding, cleaning windows, painting fences, fresh paint if needed and cleaning tiles. Scrub or replace old pots and order new plants online. De-grime patio furniture with warm water and washing up liquid and a garden hose or jet wash.
